Here are some tips for nail biters who are trying to quit the habit:
1.) With nail clippers manage your nails and keep them short, also file them down, that way you have nothing to bite.
2.) Always keep up with your nail care keeping your nails clean.
4.) I've found that if I give myself french tips or a french manicure it keeps me from wanting to bite them because who once to mess up all that hard work?
5.) You can also simply paint them or do some nail art as well.
6.) You can go to your local beauty supply store and find a polish that can be applied to nails that has a bitter taste when you bite them, this should help in quitting that habit.
7.) Wear a rubber band on your wrist and every time you think or even being to bite your nails pull on the rubber band that way it sends a reaction to your brain and will train you that biting your nails means pinching pain.
